As our Benefits Generalist, you'll create an exceptional benefits experience that makes life easier for everyone, guide teammates through their benefits options, and build great relationships across the company.
The Benefits Generalist will:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and wellness initiatives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, especially benefits, accommodations, and leave management
- Process and track employee accommodations and leave requests (FMLA, personal leave, etc.)
- Manage workers' compensation claims and maintain accurate records
- Lead HR events, including open enrollment and benefit communication campaigns
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Generate and analyze HRIS reports to enhance HR processes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Create annual benefit package reviews with a focus on financial impact
- Lead various HR initiatives, including employee engagement activities and training programs
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Psychology, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in HR or benefits administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Google Workspace
- Basic proficiency with HRIS systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Operate with absolute integrity, sound judgment, and confidentiality

Since 2003, we have trained hundreds of thousands of the country’s top students, including nearly all the members of the US International Math Olympiad team, through our online school, in-person academies, textbooks, and online learning systems. While our primary focus has been math for most of our history, through the years we have expanded our unique problem solving curriculum into more subjects, such as language arts, science, and computer science.
