As an Expansion Coordinator for AoPS Academy, you will play a critical role in helping AoPS Academy grow and reach more students. In this role, you will assist the Expansion Director in finding and launching new Academy campuses.
The Expansion Coordinator will:
- Assist with new site acquisition in an administrative capacity, including creating site survey documentation for stakeholder review, creating and maintaining an organizational system for legal agreements, and preparing permit application documents under the guidance of the Expansion Director.
- Project manage new campus launch activities, working closely with campus staff, other departments both within and outside of the broader Academy team, and external vendors as appropriate.
- Develop, maintain, and improve operations, systems, processes, workflows, and documentation for facility openings and maintenance, including budgeting and expense tracking.
The ideal candidate has:
- Prior operational and/or project management experience
- Business or other background to support data evaluation and operational problem solving
- Exceptional organizational and priority management skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage both internal and external stakeholders
- Interest or experience in education or edtech is a plus
- Experience in commercial real estate, construction, contractor, and/or facilities management preferred
