Problem

(a) Find integers $A, B$, and $C$ so that $A^3+B^4=C^5.$ Express your answers in exponential form.

(b) Find integers $A, B, C$ and $D$ so that $A^3+B^4+C^5=3^D.$


Solution

(a) $A=2^8,B=2^6,C=2^5$

(b) $A=3^{20},B=3^{15},C=3^{12},D=61$
