Problem

AoPSWiki:Problem of the Day/July 20, 2011

Solution

We insert $y = \frac{5}{2}$ into the equation and find $x$ that way:

$\sqrt{x} = (\frac{5}{2})^3$ $\sqrt{x} = \frac{125}{8}$ $x = \frac{15625}{64}$

Note that this is equivalent to $(\frac{5}{2})^6$.
