IMO Shortlist

This article is a stub. Help us out by expanding it.

Before the IMO is held, the IMO Problem Selection Committee takes the IMO LongList (the list of all proposed problems from all participating countries) and chooses between twenty and thirty problems. This list of twenty to thirty problems is known as the IMO Shortlist, or the ISL. The final six IMO problems are chosen from the IMO Shortlist. A problem that is chosen by the IMO Problem Selection Committee for the IMO Shortlist is often referred to as having been shortlisted.
