LaTeX, or $\mathrm{L\!\!^{{}_{\scriptstyle A}} \!\!\!\!\!\;\; T\!_{\displaystyle E} \! X}$, is a typesetting markup language that is useful to produce properly formatted mathematical and scientific expressions.

As an example,

$\frac{3}{\frac 1a + \frac 1b + \frac 1c} \le \sqrt[3]{abc} \le \frac{a + b + c}3 \le \sqrt{\frac{a^2 + b^2 + c^2}3}$
