Overview

Star League 3- Week Summer Math Camp is a unique opportunity for interested and talented 4th - 12th grade students to improve their math skills during summer season. Students are guided and trained by an expert faculty via utilizing national and international competitions in a fun and challenging environment. Each day consists of four 90-minutes meetings of number theory, geometry, algebra, and combinatorics. Students are introduced and then guided to solve challenging problems related to these main topics. They will also take part in practice individual and/or team exams during the program. Residential students have also evening and weekend study times.

Irvine, CA | July 9 - 27, 2018 | Star League (4040 Barranca Parkway #215, Irvine CA 92604) - RESIDENTIAL OPTION AVAILABLE

Courses and Schedule

There are five levels: Pre-Mathcounts, AMC-8/Mathcounts, AMC-10/12, AIME, and USAJMO/USAMO.

Typical daily schedule (Monday – Friday) is as follows:

8:00am-8:30pm Residential students breakfast

8:30am-9:00am Student drop-off

9:00am-12:15pm Classes

12:15pm-1:45pm Lunch / Outdoor activities

1:45pm-5:00pm Classes

5:00pm-5:30pm Student pick-up

5:30pm-6:30pm Residential students dinner

6:30pm-7:30pm Residential students free time

8:00pm-9:30pm Residential students study hour

9:30pm-10:00pm Residential students bedtime

Cost

The cost is $2,400 for regular registration.

There are discounts for early registration, current student discount, sibling discount, and academic scholarships.

Housing / Residential

Irvine location is the only housing offering. Students 12 and older are eligible. International students are welcome. Students stay at University of California, Irvine student dorms with staff and teachers. Students will have supervised activities and extra study time over the weekend.

Housing fee is $2,100 including meals, housing, and weekend trips and activities for 20 nights. This fee is in addition to base tuition. Meals start with dinner on the check-in date and end with breakfast on the check-out date.

When registering please select the "Irvine Residential Option" to register as a residential student. We can pick-up from and drop-off students to nearby airports.

The following pick-up/drop-off services may be added during registration as additional option. Los Angeles Airport (LAX) - Fee based service. John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA) - Complimentary service.
