During the day at Summer Science Program (SSP), students learn college-level science courses and at night they work in teams of three to take images of an asteroid. There are two locations: Santa Barbara, CA (at Westmont College), and Sorrocco, NM (at New Mexico Tech). Each campus has 36 students and 8 staff members. The acceptance rate is just under 10%. Almost every student accepted is a junior.
