I agree that the titles in my small "rational approximation" series are far from perfection, so feel free to change them. On the other hand, the proof of the non-Liouvillian charachter of <math>\pi</math>, say, is sufficiently long and complicated to deserve its own article. My plan was to give the proofs for <math>\pi</math>, <math>e</math> and <math>\ln 2</math>. To combine them all in one article would be a disaster: it'll be just too long to be readable. Anyway, if you can come up with a better structure and article titles for this small series, I'll be only happy. By the way, should I post my replies here or in my own User Talk section? This time I did both.--Fedja 13:00, 26 June 2006 (EDT)

I tried to create a template for AoPS tutorials on such things as "stars."  I plan to write many tutorials for the Wiki on things that I did not understand when I first joined AoPS.  When I created the template at Template:Tutorial, I did it just like Joe created the Stub template.  And, when I posted the code template in the article Stars, it gave me the insert I desiredHowever, I cannot find the Category:Tutorials.  Shouldn't this be automatically created, and already contain the article Stars?  So I have to have special privileges to create a template?  Thanks! --Sean 23:19, 26 June 2006 (EDT)

When you say that a book is Douglas Adam's only non-fiction work, you need to check around. I think you miss the salmon of doubt. --PenguinIntegral 21:33, 21 June 2006 (EDT)

I agree that the titles in my small "rational approximation" series are far from perfection, so feel free to change them. On the other hand, the proof of the non-Liouvillian charachter of $\pi$, say, is sufficiently long and complicated to deserve its own article. My plan was to give the proofs for $\pi$, $e$ and $\ln 2$.
