Summer Program

The WSU Math Circle is a 3-week math summer camp at Winona State University in Winona, MN designed to introduce high school students to the complex world of college mathematics. Over the course of the program, students develop problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and logical reasoning through projects, games, and puzzles based on advanced mathematical topics. In addition to working on problems, participants also attend lectures by WSU professors and enjoy recreational trips to local science and research centers.

In the fourth week of the program, all students complete a research project and poster, and present them at our poster presentation. Many students continue to work on their research project as an extracurricular activity or as a science fair project during the school year.
