The last time I had seen Mango247's account it had a few thousand posts but now it has a million! Like what is going on! This would probably take 231 days in real life of non stop posting (as AoPS has a 20 second timer), and I am pretty sure the last time I saw his/her account was not 7-8 months ago!

So sometimes when I go on AoPS I won’t be signed in, so I cannot access my private forum as it says I do not have permission. This makes sense as if you’re logged out you are not any account so you wouldn’t have permission. Though one time I clicked on a link to a public forum I’m banned in and it said I couldn’t access it, then my device crashed, but what’s interesting is when I went back on AoPS signed out it said I couldn’t view the forum even though it’s public so my question is how does this work and is this a bug? Because if I’m not able to access a forum i normally have access in when logged out shouldn’t I be able to access a forum I don’t have access to when logged out? It’s not important but i thought it was interesting.
Summary of the problem: when logged out I can’t access private forums I normally have access to (which makes sense) but I can’t access public forums that I normally am not able to access.
Page URL: idk
Steps to reproduce:
1. Get banned from a public forum and give yourself access to a private forum.
2. Log out of AoPS
3. Then try to access both forums, you shouldn’t be able to get into either.
Expected behavior: ?
Frequency: 100%
Operating system(s): it happens on every device I own.
Browser(s), including version: I’ve tried on a few browsers it happens every time
Additional information: n/a
it’s probably good that forums work this way but I thought it was an interesting observation.

I believe that this issue has been brought up, but it's really annoying since i want to add solutions for the 2024 AIME I on the aops wiki
it says that i've been autoblocked since my ip is the same as a blocked user (Usamo2023), and I'm pretty sure it's not just on my end since other users seemed to be having this issue too
so could this issue be resolved as soon as possible? I want to post my solutions but I have to go soon :/

k AMC Past Events Typo-ish

Summary of the problem: The past events slide for the AMC 8 competition say that students can participate in the "competitions" plural instead of singular.
Page URL: https://artofproblemsolving.com/contests/amc
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to page URL
2. Scroll down to Past Events
3. Click Load More
4. Scroll down to the AMC 8 on January 18.
5. Notice the typo.
Expected behavior: The slide should say "competition" instead of "competitions"
Frequency: 100%
Additional information: In Past Events, AIME is referred to as a "competition" rather than "competitions" like the AMC 10/12. This shows that AoPS lists singular competitions as "the competition" rather than "the competitions."
@jmiao
AoPS once said, "No error is too small to mention."

k [Request for Moderators] Move particular thread to C&P

Hi Moderators,
I created a thread https://artofproblemsolving.com/community/c594864h3085690_signupsreleasing_june_11_eime_official_mock_aime for a mock AIME I am directing, but it was moved from Contests and Programs to Mock Contests forums. Can you please move it back to Contests and Programs as this is an official contest (that is, with time restrictions built-in and using actual names+emails) that is only intended to have the same format as AIME and thus be used for mocking as well?
Sincerely,
Leo.Euler

This isn't a big deal, but if possible, it would be nice for someone to fix the https://artofproblemsolving.com/wiki/index.php/2009_AIME_I_Problems "printable PDF" link, since it links to the 2009 AMC 10 instead of the AIME.

k AMC invitation registration suggestion

Hi AOPS:
There are serious issues with your AMC registration and it cause HUGE confusion at school. People spent hours trying to resolve the problem without success. Please, try to fix this.
It is very common for a student to take AMC 10/12 A and B tests at two different schools since most schools only offer one test.
Issues:
1: A student takes A test with School A, online with AOPS, qualify AIME.
2: Same student takes B test with School B, on paper, qualify AIME.
3: The Student has to take AIME at School B.
With AIME codes from School B, the student cannot register because AOPS automatically register AIME with School A. It says "Error: You have already accepted an invitation to this contest series".
4: School B has no choice but order the AIME paper test from AMC with overnight mail delivery.
5: The student took AIME on paper. He/she qualified JMO with both 10A + AIME and 10B + AIME.
6: The student has to take JMO at School B
The same problem happens again. With JMO codes from School B, the student cannot register because AOPS automatically register JMO with School A. It says "Error: You have already accepted an invitation to this contest series".
Teachers at School B spend hour talking to AMC trying to change the contest manger to School B. With a lot of communication, it seems School B can proctor the student but the contest manger is still School A.
There are two ways to resolve this:
1: the codes from school B should override the auto registration from aops.
2: allow the student to register with codes from school B. Then the student can select ONE registrations between School A and B.
AOPS developers, please resolve this issue. It helps to reduce the confusion and work for both aops and AMC, and the school. Thanks !

If I'm taking the AIME II, when is the participant portal supposed to change and say I am registered for the AIME II? Right now it says I'm still registered for the AIME I.
