I've seen this attempted a lot but I want to see if the AoPS community can actually do it. Using ONLY 4 fours and math operations, make as many numbers as you can. Try to go in order. I'll start:

I discovered that the expression:

π +i^2+ log10(π) + 1/(4π) - sin(1.21 x10^-5π)

gives a result very close to Euler's number e (≈ 2.71828).

I'm curious:

Is this a mathematical coincidence?

Or is there an explanation or approximation method that makes this expression meaningful?

Any insight into why this combination of constants yields a value so close to e would be appreciated.

What is the benefit to paying 700$ for a class on AOPS? As I see it, paying only around 100$ for a book, then using alcumus and public forums for free offers the same features, and is much cheaper than paying 700$ for a class. Do classes have some other benefit that isnt accessible on aops for free?

Summary of the problem:
Whenever I push the big, top right "Reply" button– NOT THE SMALL LITTLE "QUICK REPLY" BAR ON THE BOTTOM, and reply, I can't scroll down all the way to the bottom of the thread that I just posted in. Sometimes, very rarely though, I doesn't scroll down all the way when I push the "Quick Reply" bar.
