is a strong feeling. sometimes when i look back at this blog i get hit by a wave of nostalgia, thinking abt how uncomplicated life was and how everything has changed. i am no longer the little girl without a care in the world, without parents that pushed her too hard to get into a good college. i miss when typing in uppercase was not viewed as "unaesthetic"

i wish i could go back in time and relive my childhood, even tho it rly wasnt that great. but the sun always seemed to shine brighter than it did now, and the first snowfall brought joy instead of sadness in me.

so this summer i actually have fun plans and am not rotting on the couch all day!

in two days, i am going to greece! oh my god i am so excited wtfff

i think we’re going to like athens and santorini, and ive heard and seen so many good things abt both of those places so im rly hype

we’re flying first class there too, so like yayy

we’re going to greece for like three weeks or so, and then i have a couple of *overnight* summer camps i’ll talk in more detail about later on

anyways i’ve been to europe a lot before, like france, switzerland, italy, and london

i rly love italy cuz i think abt it a lot and the vibes r js so comforting and theres a lot of history

i dont get the hype with france tho lmk if its js me

my first year of high school was so amazing!

i made so many new friends, reconnected with some old friends, and it was definitely less traumatizing than middle school lol

i also reached my goal of having straight a's this year

(except i have an a- in biology, but thats ok cuz my parents know how hard bio is at my school)

im kinda not very confident on my math grade tho, cuz i js took a final exam and dont know what i got (ive had a's on all my tests except for a couple of recent ones, i got 88.9 and then 80 so yikes)

hopefully i can still maintain that a like fingers crossed obvs lol

anyways, since school js ended, me and my mom went to the mall near our house

anyways, today i wanted to hop on and share some of my fav restaurants ever! like ever.

let me know if u agree with me, but these are my top 3, and btw im only listing like popular/chain restaurants so i dont give away my location lmfaoo

1. melting pot
omggg. this is such a good place and if you havent had it and live near one, you should totally try it out. it has so many varieties of cheese fondue, salads, regular fondue, and chocolate fondue. theres so many types of bread for cheese fondue, amazing varieties of salad and stuff to add for regular fondue (like shrimp, lobster, potatoes, ravioli, etc.) and the chocolate platter is amazing. theres even dif types of chocolate fondue like white chocolate, yin and yang, smores, and flaming turtle. the platter comes with brownies, rice krispies, fruit, and marshmallows. so u wont regret it! its so gooodddd

2. olive garden
im sure everyone has had this lmaooo but its js amazing. they have the best recipes and its lit the best italian food in the us. their salads are AMAZING and so are there pastas, desserts, and drinks. order anything and you'll be surprised

3. cava
this is the best casual lunch place ever! its so healthy too and so delicious. the first time i went i didnt like it that much, but its grown on me and now i cant live without it (i go every week). i love the lemon chicken bowl or harissa avocado bowl. give those a try when u go!

i've been struggling a lot with some mental and personal things and its kinda been bothering me, along with LOTS of schoolwork
i cant even take piano lessons anymore since im so behind :cry:

so on sunday, i had a violin lesson (idk why but the violin always hurts my chin and shoulder when i play it) and also a chinese test, which i think i failed. i didnt study a lot cuz i have too many things going on, sooooo

on monday (aka yesterday), i had math, french (yes i take french at school ), english, drama , science, and civics. for drama we had a double block which means it lasts for an hour and a half. its our last drama double since we're switching electives next semester and the first semester is almost over
i literally have midterms next week
and then grades come out...*cries in stressful*

today i had french, string ensemble (i play the violin), civics, double science (uggghhhh we had to do an experiment), study hall, and math. WE HAD THE FIRST PART OF OUR FRENCH ORAL/MIDTERMS TODAY AND MY TEACHER DIDN'T LOOK TOO HAPPY WHEN I WAS DONE IM SO DOOMED. TOMORROW IS THE SECOND PART OMFG THIS GIRL NEEDS HELPP
in the morning before classes started though, my advisory decorated gingerbread houses! technically the whole middle school did, and it was super fun!

also, tomorrow we have a late start (i'll probably arrive to school at 9:00) because of a faculty meeting. so yay!!

will (most likely/hopefully) talk to you guys about my day tmrw, we'll just see if i've got the frickin time

hey guys

im so sorry for not starting blogmas on the first of december ive been so busy uggghhhh
anyways, better late than never, right?
so let me give you a recap on the past three days
on thursday (december 1st), nothing much happened lol, just my music theory teacher cancelled lessons, so it was pretty great to not have a theory lesson (nice time to chillax)

on friday (december 2nd), i had a math quiz i actually think i did pretty well, there was only one word problem that i struggled with, but thats okay! im in algebra honors btw, in 8th grade (ik some of u asians/ppl that are really good at math will laugh at me, but my math is above average compared to the rest of my grade, so bare with me )

on my last math test i got a 70%, but i bet ill get about 95% on this one
yesterday (december 3rd), i didnt do much except for go to a piano seminar at a conservatory from 3:00-4:30 p.m.
it was fun even though i had to perform, which was nerveracking

anyways, thanks for not yelling at me for starting blogmas earlier whoopsie
look forward to another post today since this one should've been posted over the course of three days
