Let's break it down:
Writing
The essay was a miracle. (lol I already told briantix this story) So I wanted to get one of those books they suggest to take examples from for your SAT essay. I asked my tutor what books he would recommend and he listed several including Fahrenheit 451, a book I've always wanted to read. Ok well not always, but ever since I heard the name I thought it would be cool. lol I don't even judge books by their covers I judge 'em by their names.
Anyway, I drove to the library (w00t but still so many more hours) and procured the book. At this point I still didn't know what it was about. That was Thursday; yesterday afternoon I read the book. It took about 3 hours (or maybe 2 I already don't remember
).
It's a pretty good book (Plot: 3.5/5 Life Lessons: 4.8/5 -something like that) -hm maybe that's why it's a classic.
Well the gist of the book is that books should be valued, government censorship is dumb, and technology is destroying us. At least that's what I got. Anyway books are a central component of the story.
Well guess what the SAT essay prompt was today? hm I'm not allowed to discuss it but it had to do with the value of books so ;P
Praise the Lord!
Other writing sections were pretty easy, just had the usual 2 or 3 questions I was unsure of. In the end I think I was able to answer all but 1, maybe 2, confidently.
Note this is much better than last time.
