Update on my performance in recent(ish) math competitions

I haven't posted anything real in a while, but I won't bother making excuses either. So:
AMC10A:
So...Where to start? Well, keen readers of my blog (and even not-so-keen ones) will have noticed my stress over this contest. Well, it turns out I didn't misbubble any of the 20 questions, and I got a 127.5. So I'll actually talk a bit about this test I guess. I was getting kinda stressed before this one, and my school has this stupid dress code, so I asked to change into casual clothes before the test (thank god my teacher let me), so I was in this white V neck and sweatpants during the test. To quote one of my friends, I was "going hardcore" for this test. Apparently I was sweating hard during the thing, and I had claimed an entire table to myself, which had chocolate scattered over it. And onto some specific problems... #23: I totally just assumed it was division
#24: I drew it out. Literally took two minutes. One of my other friends spent around 25 minutes incorrectly deriving a triple angle identity for it... HAHAHAHAHA. But yeah, overall pretty satisfied with my score, seeing that I scored a 67.5 in sixth, and couldn't take it in seventh.
MATHCOUNTS chapter:
Ninth place, MA northeast chapter. 28 sprint, 12 target, 10 team. I got #9 and #18 wrong on sprint...havent looked at em yet, but going to assume that they were pretty easy...whoops... And for target #6, I totally thought that there were 360 minutes in 12 hours *facepalm*. So I should've gotten a 44, which would have landed me in first place...ah...well...no excuses for stupidity
AMC10B:
118.5 18 right, 7 omits. And now. Just listen to me scream "WHAT ARE THEY PLAYING AT?" I'm pretty sure this was the first time summation notation and floor-and-ceiling have ever appeared on an AMC10, and they were in the SAME. FREAKING. PROBLEM. Whatever, did ok I guess.
AIME:
I got a 5. 01111 00001 00000 I got problem one wrong...look at my status (for people in the future: I could not add fractions). Number 10 was easily bashed, just had to systematically go through possible common ratios... Counted an extra circle for 14... I thought number 7 was kind of... TROLLLOLOLOLOL. But my math teacher did promise to bake my math class a cake if I scored a 5 or above, so everyone loves me now. Yippee! (I guess I did ok, even ABCDE said I did "pretty good for an eighth grader") But. Notes to self: while adding fractions there is no reason to suddenly just get rid of the denominator for no apparent reason.
MATHCOUNTS state:
*immediately shuts up* NO. COMMENT.
