omlomloml haven't posted anything in so long but...
AIME II IS IN LESS THAN A WEEK
i feEeL vErY pRePArED
Mocked 2014 AIME ii today and did 1-10 because I was trying to do 11 the whole time but couldn't get the last step. I need to make sure something like this does not happen on test day because it isn't worth it to invest all my time into one question. To avoid this, I'm going to set a maximum 20 minute rule where I move on no matter what if I've been struggling for over 20 minutes.
Some other "strategies" I'm gonna use:
Right at the 2 hour mark, I will check all my answers instead of checking towards the end. This will help me be more thorough while checking (instead of racing through my scratch paper with 5 minutes left).
I'm going to make sure to at least try every single question as there are usually one or two that are misplaced.
IF I SEE ANY ALGEBRA OR NT, I SKIP
To be honest, I don't really feel nervous. I'm just going to try to have fun doing the problems and try to solve everything I can so that I have no regrets afterwards (may be last AIME because I'm a junior and I may be traveling during this time next year).
Anyways, good luck to everyone taking it!
