some changes

Last week I had a serious life evaluation, and I decided that perhaps playing around on Geogebra isn't the best use of my time. I originally started doing it because (a) obviously I like geo and (b) I thought it was better than playing clash royale and tried to replace it. However, now that I think about it, for (a) I can still do problems from past contests (not nearly as time-consuming), and (b) is no longer a problem
On the bright side, I began to pick up some old hobbies: reading and playing Go. I started reading The Shining and is currently half way through the book. I bought it at the beginning of the school year, thinking mistakenly that it's required for English class (didn't know it's a horror novel lmao). Since then it had been lying on my desk, silently screaming for me to read it, so I guess I fulfilled its wish. I just hope the rest of the book won't give me nightmares.
As for Go, I started a KGS account (old account got deleted after two years of inactivity lol) and played a couple games this week. Ngl I enjoyed having an unknown rank (the default for new accounts) and getting matched against low-kyu players; feels like cyberbullying oops
. Anyways I got to 6d earlier today which matches my highest rank in 9th grade. Maybe I haven't gotten that much worse? Hmm we'll see.
I took the MAT yesterday, and didn't do as well as I wanted.
I blame having to wear a stupid mask.

just fyi the reason I quit CR was a combination of needing to focus on college apps and (more importantly) getting frustrated over losing because of bad internet
. I also sorta lost motivation, so yeah I haven't touched ggb for a week :\On the bright side, I began to pick up some old hobbies: reading and playing Go. Details
Part 1: Missed (I) because I forgot the sum can diverge
Part 2: This part actually gave me some trouble, in particular (v) and (vi). For some reason I didn't think of the intended binary expansion approach even though it's clearly hinted by (i). My initial proof for (v) was really bad because I ran out of space, so I re-wrote the entire thing on the blank pages at the back. The math should still be correct though
Part 3: Pretty easy, except I sillied on the last step for (vi) (wrote
instead of
after getting
)
Part 4: Also pretty easy. I did not notice the typo in the definition of an odd function (it says
lol). For (ii)(d) I put
is odd (despite having the correct graph), when it's actually fixed under
reflection about

Part 5: Should be correct? Idk
Overall kinda nervous about sillies and bad explanations, especially since I'm not sure how harshly these are graded (say compared to olympiads).
