MBTI believer

Do you guys believe it? I think there is definitely some truth to it, and its interesting regardless.

I retook the MBTI personality test a couple days ago and got ISFP. I used to get ISTP, but this time I think I changed my thoughts on some of the questions from leaning toward T to leaning toward F, so not surprised that the result changed (it was previously close to 50-50).

I looked at the descriptions for ISFP, and I think it describes me pretty well:
Quote:
Sensitive to Others
A bit oversensitive
Quote:
Kind and Encouraging
my irl friends gonna disagree with this
Quote:
Imaginative
I day dream too much
Quote:
Passionate – Beneath their quiet shyness beats an intensely feeling heart. When these personalities are caught up in something exciting and interesting, they can leave everything else in the dust.
does addicted to games count
Quote:
dislike long-term commitments and plans
I have 0 planning skill, very very bad
Quote:
Easily Stressed – People with the ISFP personality type live in the present, full of emotion. When situations get out of control, they can shut down, losing their characteristic charm and creativity in favor of gnashing teeth.
I don't have characteristic charm, but yeah, easily stressed

Difficulty with Technical Problem-Solving
:stretcher:

Ok I was joking a little above, but I really do think the descriptions are somewhat accurate. I also accidentally saw some videos which say ISFP tend to be lazy, and I'm definitely the most lazy person I know.

I saw this problem on wechat so i thought about it for a little (before impatiently looking at the answer):
rephrased wrote:
In triangle $ABC$ with orthocenter $H$, let the circle with center $A$ and radius $AH$ intersect $(BHC)$ again at $T_1$, and similarly define $T_2, T_3$. Then $HT_1T_2T_3$ is cyclic.

spoiler

here's a funny solution:

Do the negative inversion at $H$ and the problem becomes: given triangle $ABC$ with incenter $I$ let the perpendicular bisector of $AI$ meet $BC$ at $X,$ and define $Y,Z$ similarly. Show $X,Y,Z$ are collinear. But this is because the perpendicular bisector passes through the minor arc midpoints of $AB$ and $AC$ by Fact 5, and thus what we want to show is that $ABC$ and the minor arc midpoint triangle are perspective with respect to a line. But they are perspective with respect to $I,$ so Desargues' theorem finishes.

cool (i forgot how to do inversion)

idt this is that impressive with how vague some of the MBTI thingies are but if ISFP is a lot more accurate than the other IxxP descriptions then i buy it i think its a lot more accurate

  • The question is, how will it end?
and the smart answer is "I won't be alive to see it end so I won't care and I will just get this midterm done"
