When posting problems from competitions to be added to the Contest page, please remember the following rules:
1) Do not include any extraneous comments about the problem. This includes “Edit: Oops I had a typo” or “Thanks, fixed!”. When we add the problems to the Contest Page, we use the url of the page, and the full post will be added.
2) Do not include attached images or images with tags. Attached images won’t show at all in the contest page, and images with the tags will only show on the front page (they won’t show on the PDF created). Use asymptote or LaTeX for images/LaTeX.
3) Title your thread with a description of the problem , the contest name, and the problem number. An example of this is 2010 AMC 8 Problem 3 here which has the title
4) If the problem is multiple choose (e.g AMC 8), please submit it as follows (credits to worthawholebean for the style of the multiple choose below)
When you find Middle School Contest level problems on the forum that need to be added to the contest page/problems you post on the forums that you want to be added in the contest page, please post them in the National Olympiads forum with the following.
Title: Source of problems/year (e.g AMC 8 2008)
Subject of text:
Problem 1: <LINK>
Problem 2: <LINK>
Problem 3: <LINK>
etc.
An example of this is here.
If you want to directly request your problems to be added to the contest page, PM someone in the RManager usergroup.
