So I passed the Chinese test thing from last time and I can take Chinese 3 freshman year now yay.

Now the other thing is abt mathcounts chapter. So basically our school has a band and orchestra program, and there is a thing called solo and ensemble where you have to go perform something in front of judges with a few other people in your ensemble. The event is on February 22, WHICH IS A HUGE PROBLEM. Mathcounts chapter is also on that date, and it just so happens that, 8 of the people out the 14 people that are going to chapter, are in band or orchestra, including me, so like we're all gonna have to miss the solo and ensemble thing. Like I'm fine with that, I don't really care abt orchestra as much, but there might be other people that care more, so they're gonna have to decide. But the thing is, the music event was arranged like a year ago, and mathcounts only just announced the chapter date a few days ago, so the music directors are arguing that the people should go to the solo and ensemble event. very intresting indeed
