Hey guys,
I would like to introduce the Tri-Hard Mathcounts Mock Test.
The reason I am doing this is to ease my pain of failing the AMC 8.
Could I get some test-solvers and problem-makers to sign up?
Achievements are optional, but they help to pick the most qualified.

Hi, I want to make a committee for making a mock contest called XYZ Math Competition. The level will be AMC 8-AMC 10. Post your quals below.
My quals if you need them
Also, in the future, if enough people sign up for the committee, we’ll also make a mock AIME.
My quals if you need them
I can get about
on any mock AMC 8 and expecting to get around
this year for AMC 10. Also, I am expecting to get a perfect score this year on AMC 8. I am also a perfect scorer in gauss contest(which is around mid AMC 8 level) and I’m in
grade.

Also, in the future, if enough people sign up for the committee, we’ll also make a mock AIME.

When do you prefer taking a Mock (math) Contest?
Close to the actual contest:
- Serves to give an accurate prediction of the actual contest score.
- It is convient; the test is soon and the time right before the test should be best used for final practice for the test.
- There is more motivation to do math around contests.
In the middle of the year:
- There is no other conflciting mocks to worry about.
- It can serve as a benchmark exam.

I would like to announce the start of my 2017 Mock ARML Individual Round!
Information about the test
How to signup: Signup in this thread, using the Signups(#) format. Signups are not necessary to take this mock contest, but they will be used in tiebreakers if necessary.
Rules of the contest: The same as an actual ARML individual round. 5 pairs of problems, 10 minutes per pair. Calculators are not allowed.
Difficulty of contest: Similar to an actual ARML individual round, but probably slightly easier because I put this together mostly within the past week.
How to submit: PM your answers to mathisawesome2169 and reaganchoi (add both to your submission for a quicker response), and we will grade them within 24 hours. If you think there is an error in a problem, please PM me. Submission deadline is Saturday, 6/3/17, at 9 pm EDT.

FAQ
Will there be a team round, relay round, or power round?
Will there be a tiebreaker round?
Why are the problems so easy?
Which ARML team are you on?
Why were you inactive on aops for such a long time?
If you have any questions about this mock contest, please PM me or ask in this thread.
No. Unfortunately, I did not have enough time to write that many decent-quality problems :(
Will there be a tiebreaker round?
Probably not, as the tiebreaker format is mentioned earlier in this post. Plus, it would be difficult to organize a live tiebreaker round.
Why are the problems so easy?
Probably because you are too pr0. But again, I didn't make the problems that hard...
Which ARML team are you on?
I chose not to go to ARML :)
Why were you inactive on aops for such a long time?
This will be addressed in my blog (which is still being created).
If you have any questions about this mock contest, please PM me or ask in this thread.

k Mock MC Nationals
I recently (as in in the shower yesterday) had the idea of making a mock MATHCOUNTS competition. Unlike most mock competitions, I was thinking of releasing multiple tests (School, Chapter, State, and possibly National Mock Tests) over the course of the whole mock Mathcounts "season".
*cringe*
Well, here we go again.
Over the past 1-2 months, I've been compiling a Mock MATHCOUNTS Test to help aspiring AoPSers practice for the upcoming contest. The test will be approx. a difficulty that of a national test, albeit a) the difficulty curve may be a little strange and b) the last few problems may be harder than usual.
The test will include a Sprint and a Target, with normal rules applying to each. When submitting answers, you will most likely submit through a Google form. Some formatting rules are included below, however, breaking them will not result in a large number of incorrect answers nor will it result in disqualification (just please follow them for a speedy grading!).
Formatting
I'll need a few test-solvers to help me test-run the test, so if you want to test solve, please PM me. In addition, no signups are needed (although you can signup below so I can see how many people are planning on taking it). You can simply take the test when it is released, which will hopefully be about 5-7 days from now (I've already written all the problems, mind you).
The followings are people that have signed up to testsolve (six should be enough):
Testsolvers
That's pretty much it. Stay tuned!
The test has been released! Read the instructions carefully, and good luck! Submissions are due by 4/12/2017.

Formatting
The formatting rules are almost directly derived from LaTeX formatting:

To format fractions, input in the form \frac{num}{num}. For example, with
, please input \frac{1}{2} as your answer.

To format square roots, input in the form \sqrt{num}. For example, with
, please input \sqrt{2017} as your answer.

To format special characters like
, please input the corresponding LaTeX command (e.g. \pi).

Please do not input spaces unless absolutely necessary. e.g. write \frac{1}{2}, not \frac{1 }{2 }.

Please do not use labels, and please do not number your answers.
A few examples:

Problem: What is
? Express your answer in simplest radical form as a common fraction. Answer: \frac{2\sqrt{3} + 1}{2} (note the absence of an asterisk).

Problem: What is the circumference of a circle with radius
. Express your answer in terms of pi in simplest radical form as a common fraction. Answer: \frac{\pi\sqrt{3}}{2}
Complicated/lengthy answers may receive case-by-case treatment, that is, a different formatting but a correct answer will not induce an incorrect marking.
