so state happened today, most of my friends already know all the scores and stuff, but if you don't then just wait another month or read someone else's blog or smth, I don't feel like talking abt it. William orz orz orz, and good job to the team for getting 2nd place yea. have fun next year also I'm sure you guys will have a lot of fun. I guess I accomplished my goal somewhat, with improvement from last year, and I got the same ranking as Jayden Yang, and tied with Hannah good job. tiebreaker is annoying but I'm not as mad as I should be (?) idk, maybe coping here, but like I used to be kinda terrified of countdown round, so at the beginning of mathcounts season my goal was just top 18 or smth (past self was so accurate wow), basically bc I wanted to get a good score, but not good enough to make cdr (idk really), so that happened . I guess I should be happy that I contributed to the team round by solving like 2 problems, and I pulled my weight mostly (not really but ahhhh). Well now middle school math comps is basically over, and I'm just recording my thoughts here as a reflection for the future. My next goals are just to aime qual again next year and hopefully get 8 or 9, and maybe usajmo or usamo in the future, but that's in a long time so idk. In high school I know there's some math comps like arml and ictm or whatever, so that's fun also all ppl in the math team this year are going to north . I didn't really expect much from middle school math stuff, since I started pretty late, but I'm happy that I made state and at least I improved from 7th grade.
