Median of a Triangle in LaTeX

The median of a triangle can be depicted using $\LaTeX$.

We begin by drawing a basic triangle:


unitsize(0.5 cm);

pair A, B, C;

A = (3,6); B = (-5,2); C = (7,-8);

Which gives:

The median is located halfway between the points so we add:

unitsize(0.5 cm);

pair A, B, C, D, E, F, G;

A = (3,6); B = (-5,2); C = (7,-8); D = (B + C)/2; E = (A + C)/2; F = (A + B)/2;
