I think the difficulty for national's target needs to be adjusted. AIME difficulty is 3 to 6 and I consistently solve about half of the problems on AIME and half of the problems at national's target (state score was 26+12).

I used MathCounts instead of MATHCOUNTS because the wiki has some issues with capitalization in internal links.  Wikipedia authors choose MathCounts, so I felt it was likely that their choice was made with experience and consideration.  We'll see how it turns out.--[[User:MCrawford|MCrawford]] 13:41, 18 June 2006 (EDT)

MATHCOUNTS was the AoPSWiki Article of the Day for December 11th, 2007
