The USAMTS is administered by the Art of Problem Solving Foundation with support and sponsorship by the National Security Agency (NSA).
Format
The USAMTS is portioned into 4 rounds. Each round consists of 5 problems that are very challenging. Students are given one month to write up professional solutions. All calculators and computor programs are allowed; however, explainations must be given. The problems are graded from 0-5. Hence, a perfect score is 100 points. Prizes are awarded to high scorers.
