Barrington Middle School (BMS) is a school in Barrington, Rhode Island that participates in the Rhode Island MathCounts Competition.

BMS frequently does well at the RI State Competition, and generally places in the top 2. Since 2007, it has won a total of 4 state championships-2007, 2008, 2011 and 2012.

The coach for the state competitions up to and including 2011 was Dr. Saeja Kim. When the team won states, she did not coach the team for the national competition, and so Meg Medeiros, an eighth grade math teacher at the school, took up the position.

Barrington Middle School decides its team through a school competition that determines the top 10 students based purely on written scores. This also allows the coach to select four individuals to represent the school based on a combination of this competition and other, more personal, factors.
