An administrator on the Art of Problem Solving website is a user who has powers for a particular forum which moderators and regular users don't.

When a user is an administrator, their username shows up in red. This only happens when the user is in the forum of which they are an administrator.
A user automatically becomes an administrator of a forum if they create it.
