In Spain, several mathematical competitions are organized. In addition, Spain participates in others with its students and teachers at national or regional level.

  • The Spanish Mathematical Olympiad (OME), organized by the Royal Spanish Mathematical Society, which has two phases, one local and one national, which every year elects the 6 Spanish representatives in the International Mathematical Olympiad. Both the local and national phases consist of two sessions of 3 problems each, to be solved in 3 and a half hours.
