If you are interested in bringing an additional team, please check the box on the registration form and we will add your second team to a waiting list. We have been so warmly welcomed into the academic competition community. We want to thank everyone for their encouragement by hosting our own meet to the community. The Soli Deo Gloria Home Educators Math Club is hosting a varsity math tournament Sept. 22 at Southern Crescent Church** / New Creation Center**, 334 Lake Dow Road, McDonough, right off Hwy 81 East of McDonough. The cost is only $20 a team and includes a pizza lunch, but we are only able to accomodate 150 students. The tournament will run from approximately 9:30 to 2:30.

Schedule:
8:30-9:30 Registration- Foyer
9:30-9:45 Welcome - Auditorium/Gym
9:45-10:45 Written Test- Classrooms: This test will consist of 15 multiple-choice questions to be answered by individual students in 60 minutes. Problems will range from AMC-10 level to late AIME level: 200 points.
11:00 - 11:45 Team Round- Auditorium: This test will consist of 4 multi-part questions, to be answered in 40 minutes by each team: 200 points.
12:00-1:00 Cyworld "Cyphering"- Auditorium: 8 problems will be given in pairs in 40 minutes, similar to an easy ARML round: 100 points. 1:00-2:00 Lunch - Football Field 2:00-2:30 Awards - Auditorium
Individual scores will be the sum of the written and cyphering rounds, with ties will be broken by written score, for a maximum of 300 points per student. The team score will be the sum of the individual scores plus the score on the power question, for a maximum score of 1300 points. No calculators will be allowed on any round.
