Overview

A-Star Summer Math Camp has summer programs for 4th - 12th graders in two locations, Orange County (UC Irvine) and Bay Area (Santa Clara). The program consists of two 2-week long sessions, of which students can participate in either or both. The first session starts in late June and the second session ends in late July. There are both residential and day options depending on location.

Courses and Schedule

There are five levels: Pre-Mathcounts, Mathcounts/AMC8, AMC10/12, AIME, and USAMO/USAJMO.

The residential daily schedule (Mon - Sat) runs from 7:30am (breakfast) until 10:30pm (sleep time). The math classes run from 9am-5:30pm.

Cost

In 2015, the cost is $2,700 for both sessions of the day camp, and $5,500 for both sessions of the residential camp. For just one of the two sessions, the regular registration cost is $1,400 for the day camp and $2800 for the residential camp. There are discounts if you register early, if you are a returning student, or if you have qualified for MOP or Mathcounts Nationals.
