A-Star Summer Math Camp has summer programs in two locations, Orange County (UC Irvine) and Bay Area (Santa Clara).  The program consists of two 2-week long sessions, of which students can participate in either or both.  The first session starts in late June and the second session ends in late July.  The Orange County location has both a residential and a day program, and the Bay Area location has a day program only.

Course descriptions are as follows:

There are five courses: Pre-Mathcounts, Mathcounts/AMC8, AMC10/12, AIME, and USAMO/USAJMO.
  
Pre-MathCounts: For students who are new to MathCounts or for those who can solve a few problems on the MathCounts Chapter tests.

The residential daily schedule (Mon - Sat) runs from 7:30am (breakfast) until 10:30pm (sleep time). The math classes run from 9am-12:15pm and 2:15-5:30pm.
MathCounts / AMC-8: For students who can already solve more than a dozen problems in MathCounts or AMC-8 competitions.
 
AMC10/12: For students who can solve more than a dozen problems in AMC-10 or AMC-12 competitions.
 
AIME: For students who feel comfortable with most of the problems in AMC10/12 levels and can solve a few problems in AIME exams.
 
USAMO / USAJMO: For students who can work at least for an hour on a single USAMO/USAJMO level proof problem.
 
  
The residential daily schedule (Mon - Sat) is as follows.  The day campers follow the daily schedule from 9am - 6pm.
