Feel free to leave a message on my talk page, I will respond on your talk page.

Conversation and Signing

Actually, it's best to keep a conversation in one place. Also, you should sign your talk posts using the button second from the right on the text panel.--MCrawford 23:43, 30 June 2006 (EDT)

I will keep a conversation in one place as that seems to be the trend here, but usually you reply on other people's pages. That way, they have a nice orange banner telling them someone has replied rather than having to check everybody's talk page that they posted on and if you reply on your own page, they may even forget! Although right now, this isn't even close to Wikipedia's size so keeping track of things would be easier. Lastly, the reason I'm not signing that message with 4 tildes is because it's supposed to be an introduction type thing. Ignite168 23:52, 30 June 2006 (EDT)

Differences

The AoPSWiki will be a bit different than Wikipedia in some, possibly many important regards. I reverted the Mathew Crawford article to include the blog information that I had posted there. The AoPSWiki should be inclusive of those kinds of resources. We don't want to be limited to encyclopedic content because that would defeat much of the point. Also, I think signing all messages is best because it's a nice log of communication. However, I think you're right about not keeping a threat in one place so that people can see all their messages. Let's try to reset that standard over the next couple of weeks.--MCrawford 17:35, 2 July 2006 (EDT)
