The Moldolvan Floppy Flop was created on the night of May 12th, 2018, by BoxCars2015, at 2018 MATHCOUNTS Nationals. Then, he shared it with westford_flying_fish that night after creating it. The next morning, when they met kevinmathz and DemonPlat4, they introduced them to it. That night, after the written competition, the four of them had a huge Moldolvan Floppy flop competition.

Basically, you stand about 2 meters in front of a bed. Then, you see how long of a distance you can get into the bed.

The measuring tool is a MATHCOUNTS Nationals yearbook. Each unit of length of its longest side is a "yearbook foot".

The current record for longest length of a single flop is westford_flying_fish with 25 yearbook inches. There is no data about who had the highest average, but it is known to be between him and BoxCars2015.
