Andres Lebbos, known as alebbos joined AoPS in 2019 after receiving his dual Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Duke University. He has always been passionate about mathematics. As a math contest participant, he received two bronze medals representing Colombia at the OCMM (Central American and Caribbean Mathematical Olympiad) and the OIM (Iberoamerican Mathematical Olympiad) in 2013. He also was a candidate for the Colombian IMO team in 2014. His passion for math led him to computer science. Intrigued by the way robots think, he started programming them at the age of 12 by helping his mother at her bead sewing business. Outside of numbers and code, Andres enjoys creative writing, poetry, board games, origami, and cooking.
