KGS math club/solution 11 25

This was a poor puzzle. The calculation was tedious and uninteresting. Also, I omitted to specify how the eight other tickets were distributed among what number of other players (this was meant to be the interesting part of the puzzle, but in fact would have made the calculation far more difficult, unless there were 8 other players with 1 ticket each).

I received a reply from 'zwim', who gave the answer as €1.46. My own calculation, assuming the other eight tickets were held by eight different players, gave €1.40. It may contain mistakes.
