The MIT Women's Technology Program (WTP) is a rigorous four-week residential summer program for female students after their 11th grade year. Students have the opportunity to explore engineering through classes, labs, and projects. There are two tracks: Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering. There are 60 attendees each summer (40 for EECS and 20 for ME).

The classes are designed and taught by female MIT grad students, and the classes are TAed by female MIT undergraduate students. The program is incredibly demanding and intended to be a full-on introduction and immersion into engineering for the students.

The cost is $3000 in 2014. There are scholarships available based on need.
