Talk:Contest strategies

Really great article. Should we have articles like: AMC10 Strategy, AMC12 Strategy, AIME Strategy, etc? I think a good one would be "Team Test Strategy". I don't know a thing about team tests (only done mathcounts, nothing awesome like mandlebrot). --IntrepidMath 17:33, 18 June 2006 (EDT)

Is this really in the spirit of the art of problem solving? Maybe, but it's pretty dubious. The whole article is about "beating the system", and contains absolutely nothing to further anyone's mathematical experience. To be sure, it may result in your winning a close tiebreaker, but what should you be concentrating on, how to get a piece of plastic with a "1" written on it instead of a "2", or how to further your mathematical experience? –Boy Soprano II 22:50, 5 September 2006 (EDT)
