A taxi ride costs $1.50 plus$0.25 per mile traveled. How much does a 5-mile taxi ride cost?






Solution

$There are five miles needed to traveled, and there is$1.50 needed to be paid in addition to .25 dollars per mile. So, .25*5 + 1.50= 1.25+1.50= 2.75$So, the answer is$2.75 (C)
