Problem

How many positive perfect squares less than $2023$ are divisible by $5$?

\[\textbf{(A) } 8 \qquad\textbf{(B) }9 \qquad\textbf{(C) }10 \qquad\textbf{(D) }11 \qquad\textbf{(E) } 12\]

Solution 1

Note that $45^{2}=2025$ so the list is $5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40$ there are $8$ elements so the answer is $\text{\boxed{(A)}}$
