Problem

Solution

Note that \[\sqrt{1+\sqrt{1+\sqrt{1}}}=\sqrt{1+\sqrt{2}}\] Thus: \[(\sqrt{1+\sqrt{2}})^4=(1+\sqrt{2})^2=\boxed{3+2\sqrt{2}}\] and we are done.
