Requirements

  • a full-time junior-level student pursuing a bachelor's degree at a four-year institution (see website for a more specific definition of 'junior')
  • nominated by the institution's Truman Scholarship Faculty Representative
  • in the upper quarter of the class
  • a U.S. citizen or a U.S. national from American Samoa or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
