Isosceles trapezoid

An isosceles trapezoid is a geometric figure that lies in a plane. It is a specific type of trapezoid in which the legs have the same length. Its properties include:

  • congruent diagonals
  • one pair of congruent sides
  • opposite angles are supplementary
  • the segment joining the midpoints of the bases is perpendicular to the bases
