Username Info

Pronunciation and Capitalization

EpicSkills32 is a fairly straightforward username, spelled as one would think and capitalized between words. The name is read in English as "Epic" - "Skills" - "thirty-two." The "32" is read as a single number as opposed to "three" - "two."

Name Origin

The username "EpicSkills32" was chosen out of sheer pride and frivolity. Designed to incorporate the user's self-proclaimed talents into a representative tag, the "Skills" in question include but are not limited to the following: math, science, swimming, basketball, ping-pong, piano, cello, pen-spinning, yo-yo, Mario Kart, and writing. For a more catchy username, the descriptive adjective "Epic" was chosen to precede the all-comprehensive base tag.

The number 32 is a favorite number of the corresponding user.

Trivia

  • His blog, Seems, (as of 8/26/15) has the second highest number of views of any blog on AoPS. It is second only to rrusczyk's blog.
  • EpicSkills32 has seen the alert box in use.
  • EpicSkills32 was the one who suggested the idea of a Hall of Fame for reaper.
  • In Reaper Game 32, EpicSkills32 finished 2nd by the largest margin ever in a reaper game. In other words, as second place he lost to first place by the most lost by anyone ever in a legitimate reaper game.
  • EpicSkills32 won a Greed Control game, possibly Game 3 or 4. (GC games are not currently tracked) He accomplished this feat despite having missed 2 days of the game and suffering from as much as a 3 point deficit at one point. He employs the strategy most commonly used by top-tier GC players.
  • A few days before the huge AoPS update in March 2015, EpicSkills32 wrote a heartfelt post on the FTW forum in which he outlined his experience as an addicted FTWer. This post went on to receive 10+ thanks, but the more interesting part was that this post was his first ever known post to have been rated a solid 6 cubes (the maximum number of cubes possible; i.e. the highest rating possible).
