Did you see the 1=2 approval award? Go here.

Thanks

For the 2 user awards (after all, 1 does equal 2). It's nice to know that there are several active users around here. Azjps (talk) 19:15, 8 October 2007 (EDT)

Are you saying, extend $\overline{PE}$ to a point $E'$ on the circumcircle of $\triangle ABD$, then use power of point/ptolemy (and same for other triangle)? I'm not sure, but wouldn't that add more variables into the problem, like finding $AE', DE',$ and such (of course you could be right, but I don't see any simple cyclic quad. solutions)? I think area ratios, or maybe Menelaus or Ceva, might be more applicable. Azjps (talk) 19:47, 23 October 2007 (EDT)

WHAT????????????

.. didn't you just pm me? lol Azjps (talk) 20:23, 23 October 2007 (EDT)

OH! Well, I was just saying extend some points to make cyclic quads, find similar triangles, and make a few solvable equations.

Like extend E one unit to G. AGDB is cyclic. Find similar triangles to get rations from DB to AG and GD to AB.

  • I see. But how would you use $CF$? Azjps (talk) 17:18, 25 October 2007 (EDT)

Hehe

You can sign your self and stuff by putting four tilde things like this: ~~~~ Or, you just click the button with a signature on it and it automatically puts it in. Nice work on the AMCs you've been doing. Temperalxy 18:13, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
