Things that will be of use to you:

  • \frac{}{} gives a fraction
  • \pi gives $\pi$
  • \sqrt{} gives a square root
  • the Preview button (right next to "Save page") allows you to see what you've done and continue editing.

EG. $\frac{1}{2}$ is \frac{1}{2}, $4\pi$ is 4\pi, and $\sqrt{\frac{1}{2}+4\pi}$ is \sqrt{\frac{1}{2}+4\pi}. --1=2 14:38, 9 January 2008 (EST)
