Asymptote recursion!

I recently learned recursion in my computer science class using java, so I decided to give it a try using asymptote in a Fibonacci generator:

int fib(int n) {
if (n== 0) {
return 1;
}
if (n==1) {
return 1;
}
return fib(n-1)+fib(n-2);
}

Neat. I'm new to coding, so I'm wondering why the function parameter of $\verb|fib|$ isn't int n. Thanks.

It probably should be an int, but it doesn't matter too much here.

It actually is supposed to be that, @OliverA, but I changed it to real for graphing purposes. I should probably change it back to int...

When it says "At least 11 users clicked that button" it's incorrect since one person could have just posted 11 times. It should say "At most 11 users click that button".
