Online Contests (Fall)
ABMC runs three monthly online contests for individuals in the fall, normally during the middle of October, November, and December. In these contests, participants have nearly a full weekend to complete 15 problems. Prizes are awarded to the overall highest-scoring participants, as well as the highest-scoring participants in each grade to encourage and motivate younger students.
In-Person Contest (April)
In the spring, ABMC holds an annual in-person competition at the Raymond J. Grey Junior High School in Acton, MA. The competition consists of a Speed round, an Accuracy round, as well as team rounds. Prizes are awarded to high-scoring teams and individuals, and some prizes are given to high-scoring individuals in each grade as well. There are also raffle prizes for all students to participate in. ABMC drew hundreds of participants in 2024. They have also had well-known guests such as WolframAlpha founder Stephen Wolfram in 2023 and 2024 speak live at their events.
