Talk:AMC 12 Problems and Solutions/Tasks

I don't think we are allowed to make PDFs of all the problems for each test. Wouldn't that violate copyright? --1=2 18:36, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

I looked at the notices on various AMC tests. Before 2007, it said "The publication, reproduction or communication of the problems or solutions of the AMC 12 during the period when students are eligible to participate seriously jeopardizes the integrity of the results. Dissemination at any time via copier, telephone, email, World Wide Web or media of any type is a violation of the competition rules."
In 2007, it said "The publication, reproduction or communication of the problems or solutions of the AMC 10 during the period when students are eligible to participate seriously jeopardizes the integrity of the results. Dissemination via copier, telephone, e-mail, World Wide Web or media of any type during this period is a violation of the competition rules. After the contest period, permission to make copies of individual problems in paper or electronic form including posting on web-pages for educational use is granted without fee provided that copies are not made or distributed for profit or commercial advantage and that copies bear the copyright notice."

I guess we are allowed to make PDF copies since 2007, then, if we put the copyright notice. --Yrushi 16:47, 25 August 2011 (EDT)
