Ultraviolet rays
Overview
Ultraviolet rays (UV rays) have a higher frequency than visible light and can damage your skin and eyes. Specifically, UV rays have a frequency just higher than violet, as can be seen in the etymology: (ultra: beyond violet: violet). UV rays can reveal special glowing paint in a dark room.
