First Steps for Math Olympians

This text includes lessons, examples, and exercises on topics useful for the AMC 10 and AMC 12. Each of the 18 chapters focuses on a different subject area, including an introduction highlighting important results, examples showing implementation of these tools, then exercises for student practice. The text is ideal for self-study to prepare for the AMC exams, and for teachers developing lessons on specific topics in problem solving.

Problems in the text are drawn from the AMC 10, AMC 12, and AHSME exams. Solutions for the exercises are included in the text.
